CBT for schools

CBT software for school exams and JAMB practice

JAMB’s UTME is a computer-based test, and more schools now set their own tests on a computer too. Students who have only ever written on paper lose minutes on exam day just finding their way around the screen.

SchoolEasy gives your school a CBT platform for class tests and exams, plus a bank of WAEC, NECO, and JAMB past questions for practice, so students meet the format long before the real thing.

Timed tests that mark themselves

Teachers build a test from their own questions or the past-question bank, set the duration and the window it opens and closes in, and choose whether students see their result straight away. The deadline is enforced on the server, so refreshing the page doesn’t buy extra time.

  • Duration and open and close times
  • Shuffled questions and limited attempts
  • Automatic marking

Scores go straight into results

A CBT score can be pushed into a CA or exam component on the score sheet, so a test written on Monday is already in the term’s results without anyone copying marks.

  • CBT scores sent to the score sheet
  • No manual re-entry
  • Every attempt kept on record

WAEC, NECO, and JAMB past questions

The SchoolEasy bank holds objective past questions by exam body, subject, year, and topic, each with an explanation. Teachers add them to tests, and students practise them on their own and see where they’re weak, topic by topic.

  • Past questions by subject, year, and topic
  • Explanations for every answer
  • Progress by topic for each student

Your school’s own question bank

Teachers write their own questions with options A to E and an explanation, tag them by subject and topic, and reuse them term after term. Your questions stay private to your school.

Questions

Common questions

Do we need special software or a server in the school?

No. Students take tests in a web browser, so the computers in your ICT lab, tablets, or phones all work. There’s nothing to install.

How does SchoolEasy discourage cheating in a CBT exam?

Tests open and close at set times, questions can be shuffled for each student, attempts can be limited, and the deadline is enforced on the server. You can also hold results back until everyone has finished.

Which past questions are included?

The bank covers WAEC, NECO, and JAMB objective questions across core subjects, organised by year and topic, and it grows every term. You can browse a sample on our past-questions pages.

Can students practise on their own?

Yes. In practice mode, students pick an exam body, a subject, and a year, answer questions, and see the explanation straight away. SchoolEasy tracks their progress by topic.
